Went in at 4:00 when they opened. Go early or go late! Not bleeding to death, but an hour to get vitals taken; another 1/2 hr to see a doc; another 1/2 hr for x-rays; another 1/2 hr to get back to the room to wait for the doc again; 1/2 hr wait there (geez you’d think they’d have done reading material there....my phone battery was nearly dead after so long!); and doc doesn’t have the x-rays yet! So call me cuz I know you’re not going to treat anything anyway. Now home 2 hrs and still no call.
The wait time was insanely long. There was only one person aside from me there and we both waited over an hour to be seen. Went in to check for strep or sinus infection. The doctor said I only had a common cold and sent me on my way. Turns out I actually did have a sinus infection (went and got a second opinion through intermountain healthcare).
I recently had a surgery at MRH and my intake nurse in urgent care is hands-down the one of the best nurses I have ever been treated by. Kudos MRH.
Fast and friendly! This Mom did not have time for strep throat! The Urgent Care diagnosed the strep, gave the big penicillin shot, and called the next day to make sure we were ok. Thank you Moab Regional Urgent Care!!!
Getting in was fine, make sure to get there early. This was nice compared trying to get into a Dr or going to the ER for a non-emergency.
