I was pulled over for speeding and by a younger Moab Highway Patrol during Memorial Day weekend. This officer was not too happy with me as my speed was excessive and I had no excuse, I knew that I was way over the limit. He respectfully expressed the danger of my speed and the responsibility I have to others, and did receive a citation for my neglect for the speed limit. Since this citation I have respected the speed limits on the roads. This officer was very respectful and professional and we ended with a short and friendly conversation about my travelling and destination. Mutual respect from a officer to citizen, and from a citizen to a officer who is doing his job "To Serve and Protect". Thank you Officer for reminding of the responsibility we have to others on the road!
Shout out to the officer who helped me push my car to jump start it when the starter was having issues.
