Just read Dave S. review of Lonestar boots in Moab, Ut. Same thing going on in my world. I placed a special order Dec. 28 2015 Have e-mailed twice for status, no reply, made one phone call and found the person on the other end to be very curt almost to the point of rudeness. Since I charged the purchase to my AMEX card, I think I will make them my next call.
Ordered special order boots on sept 11, 2015. I was told it would take 90 days (3 months). I keep getting excuses after excuses. It has now been 5 months and no boots. They have my money and I have no boots. I emailed them without a response. I requested a refund and haven't heard anything back. Will be talking with the BBB very soon.
Great price on a pair of Tony Lama's that I couldn't find locally. Local boot stores only carry square toes and wouldn't order the round toe Buckaroos. Guy was great to visit with and he kept me informed of the shipping. I read Guy's Google reviews before I bought and did further research only to find Guy has positive reviews elsewhere. My Tony Lamas were delivered to my door quickly and were exactly what I wanted, so I'll be ordering a pair of boots for my son soon. Call Guy if you have questions, my experience was positive.
