A really nice place to relax, walk or jog. Peaceful garden, perfect for families with kids. My cabin is set for four people. It's clean and well equipped. Small kitchen/livingroom/bedroom and a separate bedroom for two. Bathroom with shower.
The drive into the B&B from Moab is simply breathtaking, so if you were worrying about the commute -- don't. We enjoyed the ride every time!
We stayed at the Castle Valley Inn. The place was a perfect spot to explore Moab and Arches, but the most beautiful was to be in the Valley where we meet Michelle and her husband whom took care of us in the morning. It was like we were in Eden Garden. Thank to the Universe for all this beauties. Colette.
The wife and I stayed here for a week in mid-August, 2016 and we were very pleased! The grounds were very well kept, the rooms are clean and nice, and the staff was amazingly friendly! Treats (pastry/cake/cookies) were left in the commons in the evenings and the breakfasts in mornings are top notch!
Great breakfast straight from the kitchen. Wifi, tv, aircon, fan. Patio. Innkeepers well informed about national parks and other local walks, hikes and bikeroutes.
Castle Valley Inn is absolutely a real gem. The room (we did stay in Hovenweep) was quite large, well equipped en very clean. They cleaned it every day. The breakfast was outstanding. We stayed for 5 days in June (2017), but wished it was longer. Castle Valley is a breathtaking 20 miles drive east of Moab and Arches along the Colorado River. When you love to hike there are two places nearby you should go: Fisher Towers and Onion Creek.
What an amazing place! We stayed here for a couple nights in August and everything was pristine. This is the place to go if you want to get away from the cookie cutter tourist hotels and lodges and enjoy the peaceful side of Moab. Jason and his family were very friendly and the breakfast was to die for!! I will definitely be going back.
