Dropped in here without a reservation on a weekday in late March, and they still had several Jeeps available. The rental process was very quick and painless, and I appreciated that we could keep the vehicle until 6pm. (Some of the other rental places we checked out required everything to be returned by 5:00.) The Jeep was nothing fancy inside, but certainly provided the off-road capabilities we were looking for. They even provide a cooler with some ice, which was handy since we hadn't brought one. My one suggestion is to do your own research on trails and difficulty levels, so you can pick the ones that are most suited to your nerves and driving abilities; the trail suggestions we got from the staff varied widely in terms of terrain and difficulty, but they didn't give us much detail to help us identify which ones were really the best fit for what we wanted.
We broke our ride the first day so we stopped by Cliffhanger... awesome staff and best prices in town. Would highly recommend!
Thought we were going to die on ‘fins and things’ a few times, seriously can’t believe they let anyone rent these and take them out on the slick rock. We live to tell the tail. Totally worth the trip, but if you are not experienced, I recommend going out with a guide who knows the turns and the rocks. The razr was new and amazing- kept us safe on the steep climbs and descents. Staff was friendly and so glad to add that to our bucket list.
My husband and I rented a jeep and truly cannot express just how incredible our experience was with Cliffhanger !!!! The manager was soooo kind and gracious, offering to come pick us up and bring us back to our hotel. She was AMAZING and so sweet!!!! Great customer service all the way around. Super friendly, offering great advice with maps and explained trails. They even give you a cooler with ice!!! We highly recommend Cliffhanger and hope to be back again one day!!! Thanks for a great and unforgettable experience !!!!
We rented 4 jeeps for a youth adventure activity. The jeeps were in excellent shape and the staff was very friendly. After turning in the jeeps an heading home, they found an iPhone that was forgotten & it was mailed back to our home, which demonstrated their professionalism and integrity. Thanks for great support with our rentals. I would recommend Cliffhanger to anyone looking to rent off road vehicles in Moab.
