Excellent service with an amazing view. Wait times can be a little long for the window seats but we got right in for a spot still close to a window. Not a bad seat in the house. Food was really good too.
Good food. I had the prime rib. The view was 5 stars, the server was 5 stars as was the hostess, the price was a tad high even though this is a tourist town, and the wait for a table (even though I counted close to 10 empty tables) was 30 minutes. If definitely recommend this restaurant for sure. Get the wait time down under 15 minutes (especially with empty tables), knock $1 off of each drink cost and the rating goes to 5 stars.
The place has a history too, worth reading up on.
A dining experience isn't just about the food, it's about the ambiance, views, service and food. This place ticked all the boxes. The waitress we had from Phoenix Arizona was simply beautiful and was a perfect host - why can't they make them like her all the time.... The food was great, well cooked, tasty and full of flavour. This was what I was searching for in Moab and I left feeling content and happy.
Wendell was a fantastic waiter! A group of friends and I came in just for drinks, Wendell informed us that we have to order some food items, as we weren't aware of this state regulation, so we decided to share the bruschetta and the artichoke crostini. Both were so very delicious! Especially the artichoke. Wendell was very informative about the area, and he even gave us a demonstration of uranium content in old china, connecting to the history of the restaurant. Then, to end, we were treated with a complimentary dessert! Wendell was amazing and the food was equally amazing. I would highly recommend Sunset Grill!
Waited 42 minutes for $34 steak to be served...went ahead and ate most of it anyway, since how it was cooked was irrelevant (1/2 raw). Wife's steak was good, view is good. Service is fantastic if you're a local...ok if not. Second beer might have been nice, had anybody ever stopped by to ask? Still waiting for check...15 minutes +...
