Slow.........Slow......... Slow to get someone to come to our table after we we're seated, Slow to get our food. Slow to get our check after we we're finished eating. Food except for the chicken strips was pretty darn good. Chicken strips we're burnt. Atmosphere was nice, like an Alpine lodge. Sweet potato fries were especially good as they were drizzled with a sweet sauce and lemon zest. A 20% tip was automatically added to out bill for our table of 7. We were told we had the best server, but that was hard to believe. Salad was free but we didn't know that when ordering and our server didn't mention it until the 3rd person in our group asked for a side salad. Our server brought us 1 small bowl for the 7 of us to share. We asked for 2 more bowls and that was no problem, but there was no way that first bowl was enough for our table. Dinner was a 90 minute event due to all of the delays. This place would have been great if the service was as good as the food. I hope management sees this and will work on the service/timing aspect of their hospitality business.
Absolutely amazing. All 6 of us loved the food we got with no complaints (which is rare for us). Friendly staff, nice setup, and it just made our already good day even better. Highly recommend it
Recommend by our hotel for Thanksgiving dinner. We should have made a reservation, but that was on us as we have never eaten here. And it WAS Thanksgiving. It was worth the wait: got seated by the fire, and had excelent food. Rainbow was awesome and even took time to chat. All proceeds from the Thanksgiving dinner went to local charities so I'm not going to even mention the prices. Thank you all at The Broken Oar for taking time from your families to serve us a GREAT meal!
Great food for a reasonable price, quite popular and crowded when we visited, we liked it so much we returned three nights in a row and had a great meal each time. I loved their french fries and cheesecake. The staff was friendly and upbeat.
Rainbow did a great job of being our server. She was timely, friendly, and got everything right. We didn't have to wait long either to order or to check out. The food was very good. Will come.back when we are in Moab again.
