Small, charming cabin with great location close to Arches National Park and close enough to Moab to run into town to grab groceries or a quick bite to eat. It wasn't too busy when we visited in March. It is very close to the highway so you do hear a lot of the traffic noise but it wasn't too bad. Great place to sit back and relax. Wish they had a little bit more of a closet though to put our things. I felt like I was constantly tripping over our stuff as there really wasn't anywhere out of the way to put it. Seemed slightly overpriced as well for what you get.
I stayed here with a friend to bike the Whole Enchilada. It is super hot during the summer so unless you come prepared for the heat you need to bring lots of water and sweat a lot. This campground is nice and has a pool and showers/bathrooms that are pretty clean. The mini golf putting green needs to be renovated badly. Fair price for the stay.
The facilities are nice and include a large bathhouse, pool and hot tub, dish washing area for campers, and a bike wash station. There is a dog run but it’s quite small - not large enough to toss a ball for a big dog.
The RV park is on a slight hill so sites near the top (near the highway) are not quite level and trailers had to use leveling blocks on one side. Sites at the bottom are more level. End cap sites (sites at the end of each row) have their own grassy areas and don't share with a neighbor.
The park can accommodate a 45' Prevost but the sites are tight with a tow car which you have to park sideways or pay for an extra parking site if you have a particularly large tow vehicle like a truck.
The park is relatively small - only about 60 RV sites. They are arranged nose-to-tail so you are a foot or less away from one neighbor after both sets of slides are extended and on the other side you share a grassy area just wide enough for the picnic tables with your other neighbor.
The WiFi is fast and quite reliable (at least by RV park standards).
I used the covered tent area, it was clean and very specious. The playground for the kids is nice, they also have games and a nice pool. The bathrooms are clean, the laundry area/charging station is really nice. They do have a complimentary microwave which came handy. The staff is friendly. I know I'm camping and not at a hotel, but it would be nice to have electric plus near the camp site. I mean even my air mattress is electric... I would recommend this place.
I loved this place went on the week proir to memorial day. Restrooms and all other facilities extremely clean and great staff! They gave my dogs treats every time they passed them, they loved it there too! Gave my party maps to the surroundings scenic sites and offered great complimentary coffee. Location and price Great! Planning to go again soon.
The tent sites are separate from RV area so tent camping is nice here too (unlike at most RV parks). Most tent sites have shade structures as well.
The staff is nice but can be difficult to reach on the phone. If you leave a message they do tend to return the call within 24 hours.
Nice RV park and tent campground.
