Cute rooms. Nice staff. Laid back and down to earth. Reasonable rates and good location. Would stay again.
We had a terrific time at Kokopelli! Like someone else has commented - these are not just rooms, but tiny homes. They had everything we needed, were beautifully decorated and came at a great price. It had a peaceful atmosphere that made for a great rest on our journey west. I would absolutely recommend staying there and hope to do so again! Thanks Kokopelli. :)
I almost don't want to review this place...I'd like to kind of keep it as my own private paradise! But they were so gracious and it's such a special little place, they deserve tons of praise. First and foremost, pets are WELCOMED...for no additional fee! Second, the staff are absolutely wonderful! Incredibly welcoming, helpful, fun and friendly. I must give a shout-out to Merlin the Wizard, who goes above & beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. He's a keeper! Third, the place is ADORABLE. The 1950s buildings are quaint and have that "old-timey" feel, and the decor is fresh and cute. All the rooms are styled a little different but they are all outfitted with coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and lots of electrical outlets for all your personal needs. Comfortable beds. Spotless bathrooms with thick, colorful towels, a hairdryer, a farmhouse style sink, and shower. Outside the rooms, there are small tables & chairs where guests can watch the sunset and perhaps interact with other guests. The lodge also has a lovely fenced-in grass courtyard surrounded by beautiful sunflowers and other native plants & flowers, and pretty lights strung through the trees, and has tables & chairs, a grill, and a welcoming atmosphere. The room, office, and grounds are CLEAN and they have recycle bins in the rooms. The lodge is located one block off the main drag so everything from restaurants to gift shops & clothing stores, jeep rentals to grocery stores & laundromats is nearby. Even though everything you might need is close at hand one street over, the lodge is surprisingly and blissfully quiet! Did I mention they have a hot tub?! Again, pets are welcomed with open arms--just please remember to clean up after them. I almost forgot...for all of this, the price is ridiculously and refreshingly low. My husband and I enjoyed it so much, we stayed an extra night and look forward to our next visit to Utah. Kokopelli Lodge is, just as they say, Pet Friendly, Earth Friendly, Guest Friendly. It was a 10-star stay for us!
We've come here 5 times or more. The rooms have always been clean. Some rooms are small and light on storage so you might be living out of your luggage if you packed a lot. The hot tub is usually working and chemicals are kept current. We like the bike storage and location to walking to some good food options.
Very unique! This feels more like a little cabin/apt & truly has all the touches to make you feel at home! Very cozy! Love the colors! WiFi worked great! Hot tub on site, no pool & I would suggest the TVs being bigger & w better channels. .. but you don't really come to Moab to watch TV right? The customer service was absolutely wonderful! Merlin the wizard helped us & I could tell he really took pride & care in his job! Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others!
