It was a great place for the price but some updates could go a long way.
I only used the showers, but after a week of hiking in arches, a $3 shower was much appreciated. Super hot water and clean facilities. The staff was mega friendly. Had I had a little more money, I definitely would've stayed the night as well. An overall wonderful experience. Also the ground cats are adorable.
Kitchen dangerous. Very unclean. Not safe. I know as a hostel International member that we're supposed to clean up after ourselves, but inherently that does not always happen at a Hostel and when that does not happen the staff must make sure that the kitchen is cleaned. Toilets and bathrooms were clean but there was a toilet and a urinal out of order in the men's community room. It's cheap I'm old and have a budget. Not to mention I'm resourceful. Wonderful area on the plant to visit. Doing it again. I appreciate the price. Gives me a home away, where I can take care of myself. For a very low rate.
This place was quaint, but I don't think it should be defined as a hostel. We stayed in a cabin outside, which felt way more like cozy camping.
The room was clean where else in Moab can you stay in a bunk for $14 or a private room for under $40. There was a lot of junk inside and around the outside. The bathrooms could use some updating and a really good cleaning.
The kitchen could be stocked better and a bit more clean. The rooms were clean, had great AC, and the general vibe was on point. Bathrooms were cleaned and well kept and quiet hours were adhered to! Overall, it was a pretty solid place and we would stay again. The place is super cute, as well.
We just stayed there Sept 1st - 4th. We had a cabin, love it! Cabin was clean. Good beds and air conditioner. The Dude that runs the place is cool and know business, just wish his millennial staff understood the difference between a paying customer and there party pals.
Boy at check-in was rude and did not give us any information on the hostel. Rest of the staff was super nice, specifically the blonde boy and the older guy with a beard at check out.
Stayed in a private room. Bed was not the most comfortable I've been in, but the room was clean and everyone was very nice. Shared restrooms were close by and well kept. The showers were clean and the water was hot. Great way to spend a weekend!
