Staff was very talkative and friendly, made us feel welcome despite showing up just before office closing time.
Nice place, right in downtown. Easy access to good restaurants, convenience stores. Trail access for walking and bicycling. Bicycle cleaning stand, and they offer rags for cleaning.
Clean rooms, pet friendly and great staff at the front desk. Good location right across parking lot from Moab Diner. Good food, good service & reasonable prices. Motel is centrally located. I would stay here again for sure!
Great place to stay that won't rip you off. Accommodations were basic, place was clean, close parking to the rooms, & comfy beds. Martin at the front desk was a great help in pointing us to the best places to eat near by. The diner across the street was great. You didn't come to Moab to spend time in the hotel, get out there and see the beautiful sights!
Very clean rooms, and despite being dated everything worked great. If the hotel is busy it can be a little noisy - typical wood construction. The little road noise can be overcome by running the fan in the AC unit.
Although I swear I lost a $180 photographic filter during my stay here a few days ago, that's not the hotels fault. Excellent service, clean, quiet. I would recommend resting here for the night for anyone looking for a hotel with fair rates in Moab, UT.
A wonderful experience! We were planning on camping, but with temperatures above 100 degrees we figured we try our luck at finding a room for the 2 days. The Virginian was extremely accommodating and we had a room less than 10 minutes later. Very friendly staff, rooms were clean, and a great location---walking distance to all the downtown feature! Couldn't have asked for a better, last-minute-change-of-plans experience!
