Impressive natural arch spanning across the sandstone rocks. Beautiful colours at sunset and easy to get to from the carpark.
Nice arch - Pretty fast hike - super windy though and hard to find parking - id recommend coming early to avoid the crowds - remember to bring water
Stunning and gravity defying come to mind when you see it. Morning sun would likely be best for taking photos. Afternoon the sun sets behind the arch and the light is more difficult for photos. You also expect to see Wyle E. Coyote chasing a roadrunner across the span.
If Delicate Arch is the #1 place to visit in Arches National Park, this is #1(a). An absolute must-visit. Well worth the brief hike along a very well developed trail to get there. See it while it is still there--one day, the forces of nature are going to cause this arch to collapse and you want to see it before it is gone.
My favorite walk in arches. A definite must see. It is quite an easy walk from the parking lot and the first Arch on the Devil's Garden Trail. The trail to this point is well kept and wide.
