We went here to rent stand up paddle boards. Most of the staff was very nice but the owner, Chris was not. He yelled at us in the middle of the store because we parked in the spot that said "boat loading and unloading." The rest of the lot was full and we were there to pick up the boards and load them on our car. This is not a great way to treat customers, especially when you own the company. We would have appreciated it if someone had just asked us nicely to move our car.
Expected a touristy "tour" business and was surprised how much useful gear they had, stocked up on straps and some other stuff, nice people too.
I've rented from them twice in the past year. The staff is patient and helpful with great advice about how to get the most out of the river each day. High quality gear, clean facilities, and places to change or clean up.
I came into the store looking for a few rafting supplies and a little advice on the best way to float down the daily. The staff was super helpful, helping me find the things I wanted and supplied me with maps and some great advice on the river. Top notch customer service from friendly and open employees. I scheduled a clear water kayaking trip. When I got the date wrong and missed it they were super helpful on getting me scheduled for something else the next day! Ross was my guide. Very knowledgeable and great at his job! My only reason for not a full five stars is that it took a VERY long time to get going (previous group was late) and a VERY long time to finish up (took a long time for them to load up).
