Over 2 days our group toured Arches Natnl. Park, ate a great cowboy dinner, an evening Colorado River cruise, toured Dead Horse Point State Park, and Canyonlands National Park, and had a very good 'make your own sandwich' lunch. Great guides, great food, and really enjoyed the gift shop! Very nice, knowledgeable staff. We highly recommend.

This is a great experience for the family! Really good food and the first half of the boat ride is a wonderful experience. The lighted part of the boat ride we expected more than just white lights lighting up the Canyon.

Great service. Night boat trip could be better but it's worth it to go once.

Long story short, if you decide to use this company, you better pray that it doesn't rain. Also, make sure to inspect your gear and ask them if they have enough life jackets and car seats before you head out. Good luck.

Me and a group of friends rented canoes for a 5 day trip. The plan was to get dropped off at Ruby Ranch and then picked up at Mineral Bottom at noon. When we got there the morning of our trip (30mins early) the canoes hadn't even been loaded up, and the equipment wasn't ready to go either. We waited at least an hour past when the trip was supposed to start so people from our group could help load the canoes in the truck (one of which we noticed had a large hole in it and we asked to exchange). There wasn't enough room for our group in the vans, so we just had to squish together to fit into the van. We finally got dropped off at Ruby Ranch with barely the equipment we were required to have, and definitely not all the items we were supposed to have per the rental agreement. After a non-exist safety talk, the guide briefly said something about if it was raining when we ended our trip they wouldn't be coming to pick us up. I didn't think anything of the comment because it almost sounded like a joke, and the weather forecast was for clear sunny sky's the whole trip. The last day of our trip it was lightly drizzling so we got an early start to get to the take out early. When we arrived another canoe group was getting picked up by their outfitters, so we felt that we would still be able to get picked up, but just in case, we sent 2 members of our group up with this outfitter. When they got to Canyonlands by Night and Day they were informed that we would be (maybe) getting picked up the next day at noon instead because of the rain (even after trying to convince them, and telling them about flights that were going to be missed). The rest of the group camped out by the pull out watching canoeing groups and kayakers and mountain bikes get picked up and driven out of the canyon. Finally sent up 3 more of our party to collect our car keys and send down some of our cars to grab the rest of the group. When we informed Canyonlands By Night and Day that we planned to leave the Canyon on our own, and leave their equipment down there, they finally got in gear and drove their vans down (to get their stuff, not us). Not at all impressed with the quality of our rental equipment, knowledge of the outfitters, or the lack of professionalism we encountered. If you plan to go with this group, bring a few extra days worth of food...

I was also on the trip with the group that was stranded due to rain. The reviewer's explanation of our experience was dead on. One of the rental canoes had a hole in it, there weren't enough seats for all of us in the vans, they provided us with a seat pillow to sub as a life jacket, and there wasn't a safety briefing. The company clearly didn't inspect their equipment, they were ill-prepared, and they were not concerned with our safety. Plus, they literally told us that if it rains, they might not come get us, but to still be there at 12. When they didn't show up on the final day (it was raining), my boyfriend and I hitched a ride with a canoeing company who actually picks up their customers. When we talked with Canyonlands by Night & Day, they told me that they tried to pick us up with the van, but were told the conditions were too bad. I asked them if they have a 4 wheel drive and they told me they do, but it can only fit 6 people, which would require multiple trips. They told me they were only going to resort to that option the following day because they don't have chains. I asked for them to go and buy some chains, and they told me that it is too early in the season (which is not true). Basically, they did not want to go buy chains and make multiple trips to rescue their customers (who were drenched and freezing). Ironically, once my friends found a different ride and used the satellite phone to tell them they were going to leave the canoes there, Canyonlands by Night miraculously showed up to get their stuff with the van and SUV...
