Super fishing, great views and exploration. Cant forget the waterfall
Big parking spaces that are not too close together. There are nice views of the lake, the Rim, and the La Sal Mountains. No hook-ups. Vault toilet, fire ring, and picnic table. Dogs are allowed on a leash. $15.00 per night, 14 nights max.
One of the best campgrounds in the area. Lots of space between sites and lots of places to walk around and explore. Seems to be a very dog friendly place as well.
We were having an awesome camping experience in our 30 rv at kens lake. But after a day trip someone had taken our campsite we already paid for! And they would not move! So we took the next site. Lucky for us there was one. I talked to the camp host and he refused to help at all. He seemed nice but did not do his job. We will stay two more day then hit the roads again. Some people can screw your day up with quickness. I'm still mad but I have to let it go so we can get back on the road to fun again.
Quiet and completely empty in November. Had the entire place to ourselves. Clean and beautiful with road going straight to Steel Bender trail.
