Nice enough campground but way to much money.
I had booked 3 nights here in the middle of July for a tent site. The place is beautiful, wonderful landscaping done. I ended up leaving a night early since the heat was unbearable (silly New Yorker me). The staff were very understanding and gave me a full refund for the night despite being past the refund deadline. The only reason I docked a star is due to my tent site having rocks. I could not find a spot to get my stakes more than a few inches into the ground, they kept hitting rocks. I checked different areas within my site but could not find a spot to make it work 100%.
Not sure how this is for tent camping. Originally, our reservations were for tent camping, but when we arrived, we inquired about a cabin as we have two dogs and the weather was hot and sunny. Also, not a whole lot of shade and no grass. We were in luck. There was a deluxe cabin available that allowed pets. We enjoyed being it so much, we elected to stay four nights instead of three. Definitely want to come back to see it when the new swimming pool and laundry facilities are complete.
Cabin itself was very nice and the ground were well maintained.
Cabin had a great view of construction that started before 7am and went till after 6pm during the week. Weekend was better with no impact driver wake up call. It didn't feel like the staff took the noise concern seriously.
Unfortunately for us the pool was under construction and the hot tub. Sites we're pretty small.
I've stayed here a few times. It's quiet at night and the staff were friendly. There is good shade on most sites. It would be much better if the utilities were at the rear of the site instead of the front. Be careful of large rocks lining the narrow roadways in the campground.
We stay at a lot of campgrounds and would not stay here again due to price and small sites.
