-AWESOME location for nearby petroglyphs viewing, rock climbing at Wall Street, and the dinosaur tracks!
This is a BLM campground, meaning all the have is a potty surrounded by a fence. Not much privacy there. The camp sites vary in size and quality. The shop have a picnic table and fire pit. But it is right next to a very busy, 55 MPH road with noisy traffic all the time. $15 per night
-Mosquitos can be unbearable during the summer months as there are some seeping springs along the sandstone wall.
-It's right next to the road, so if you're a light sleeper, you'll probably be awoken to cars speeding down the road at night.
Stayed at this site at different times of the year, so I gots some things to say:
This place is clean, and close enough to town that it works as s home base for a multi day trip of adventuring in Moab. Only draw back is that it is right on the Potash road, and the morning and evening traffic moves loud and fast!
Get there early to get a camping spot. It's first come first serve. $15 a night and beautiful views and great location.
Nice place to stop.... Beautiful area.
Overall it's a pretty chill place if it's not at capacity. I'd recommend it.
