Talk about a fun place to drive a Jeep!!!
Fun!
This is a pretty difficult trail, but doable with lockers, a good driver, and a good spotter. I was able to get all the way up in my TRD Tacoma with some scraping.
We had a blast. The "trails' here are much different from trails we are accustomed to. Very rocky as it should be around here, but a bit hard to follow at times and some precarious ledges. It was great fun and we felt like we were exploring, and the small green painted trail marks added some safety so we never felt like we could get lost. The dinosaur footprints, the petroglyphs and the arch were all fun to find. The arch is a pretty good trek, so bring some water and a hat. But I thought it was well worth the hike. Very scenic. Love it.
