Our Family visited Moab for the first time and chose Moab Rafting and Canoe Company for our adventure. Owners Lisa and Kevin allowed us to customize our trip and shared a plethora of knowledge to help make it spectacular! We felt very safe on the River using the stable canoe and were even allowed to bring along our dog! While on the River we saw deer, Great Blue Heron, and an amazing view of an Arch formation. Our self-guided day canoe trip also included roundtrip shuttle service which made this incredibly convenient. Kevin, our shuttle driver, made the trip back from the Canyons more humorous and enjoyable as he pointed out many interesting sites, including dinosaur footprints and Indian writings just steps from the road. Breathtaking views of the Canyons made us feel like we were in another world! Our Family highly recommends this Company and we feel that we got a great bang for our buck. We will definitely use them again for our next visit to Moab! Thank you Lisa and Kevin!
What a great experience. The owner was very accommodating to us as he went out of his way to drop us off and pick us up even though we had arrived later in the morning after the first group had been dropped off. The scenery along the river was spectacular with incredible rock formations and caves that can only be viewed from the river. We stopped for lunch along a sandy beach and had a fun time swimming in the river. The entire trip was very relaxing and the highlight of our week in the Moab area. I apologize for my son Justin's previous remarks in his review as he had rented a paddle board from another company. The owner of this company had no obligation to provide him a ride back but out of the goodness of his heart consented to do so. I would definitely rent from this company again.
I recommend this company to anyone. If you hear anything bad about this company please let me reassure you that it's not true. I'm going to go back here again the moment I am able. Very awesome experience!!!
I went on a 4 day vacation through this company this summer and was very impressed. The trip is reasonably priced and the owner is One of the coolest people I met. The owner has a great sense of humor and and goes out of his way to make sure his custohave a good experience. He will probably know me as the only person that missed the pick up spot LOL! Even though I made a huge mistake, he went more than out of his way to fix the situation and didn't charge extra. I had to tip him big because it just wouldn't have been right if I didn't.
My wife and I rented a beautiful canoe from Moab Rafting and Canoe Company to celebrate our anniversary with a 4 day float down the Colorado. We absolutely loved working with Kevin and Lisa at MRCC and will definitely be going back to them for a canoe rental next time we do this trip (which was AMAZING). Before we headed out Kevin graciously spent 30 minutes with us sharing his knowledge and experience on the river which, as first timers on a self-supported trip like this, was greatly appreciated. Along with outfitting us with the best canoe on the water for a trip like this the service was completely over the top. Highly Recommended for outfitting!
