This place is great! I love that they have local stuff( fossils and minerals) and they are right off the highway! The prices are fair- but the selection is supreme! This will be a favorite spot to visit when we come to play in this part of the country!
Our family loves this rock shop & the employees are always helpful. They explain about the rocks & items to help you better understand what is and where it's from. They have an awesome selection & prices are fair. Will definitely come back.
This rock shop was a highlight of our trip! There is a really neat variety of rocks and rocky jewelry. Some of my kids could have happily spent hours there.
I have been collecting rocks for years, and this is one of the worst I've been to. While this place has a good selection and is well organized, the prices are ridiculous. There is one section where they have tiny little 0.5-1 inch long trilobites for about $70 per. For comparison, I have seen trilobites that are 8+ inches and are less than $50. The only reason why this place stays in business and has such good reviews is because it's the only rock shop in a tourist trap town. That way, they can charge whatever they want and people who have never stepped foot in a rock shop before will gladly pay the prices and give a 5-star review.
A must-visit in Moab, especially if you're with kids. There's just some cool stuff to see and it's a pretty unique place with a lot of history.
