Rim tours allowed me to experience mountain biking in a whole new way and the guides helped in various ways to ensure we had the best time possible throughout the trip.
I’d like to give a special shout out to our two guides this year: Mike Smith, the lead guide, who I’ve known for decades and who has guided many of my trips with Rim, and David Bagsley. Superb guides in every way: Personable, competent, good humored and highly skilled.

Fantastic experience! Our guide, Sam, paid attention to our riding and kept us on trails that were challenging and exciting, yet within our (mainly my) means. He let us go at our own pace to enjoy the trip and was great offering tips so I even improved throughout the trip. He was also a wealth of knowledge concerning the area so we learned a lot during our stops. He even offered to ride ahead at one point to take pictures of us making our way down the trail so we got some great photos biking which is a first! The bikes were in great condition and well-maintained. The lady I spoke with during booking was incredibly helpful and friendly as well. Highly recommend!
There’s a good reason that I’ve been doing business with Rim Tour for over 25 years. First and foremost, their five star service, responsiveness and the quality of their mountain bike rental fleet. Rim Tours has top-level guides who have deep experience, knowledge and respect for the flora, fauna, terrain and geology of the area. They also have ability to improvise when “stuff happens”. The guides also have the ability to quickly assess the skill level of the clients and adjust the tempo of the trip to match the clients’ needs. This makes Rim Tours my go-to company for mtn bike adventures.
My brother and I had an awesome time riding the Moab badlands with Rim Tours. The rental bikes were 1st class, were maintained very well, and the guides were extremely competent. We took a private half-day lesson with Brooks and I can't say enough good things about him both as an instructor and "friend". That lesson taught us how to deal with the technical aspects of Moab biking, gave me a great sense of confidence for the next day's ride, and left me with the tools to get the most out of my own 27.5+ bike when I returned home. Billy and Michael, our guides on the Dead Horse Point ride, were also great. They broke up our group of eight according to skill level, demonstrated the optimal path over the more technical challenges, and even let us ride ahead on occasion using our new skills.

This year we did a 3-generation custom trip to Bryce/Zion. Here are comments from Jordan, my son-in-law and my two grandsons, Chris age 15 and Nicky age 12.
Absolutely incredible experience! My wife and I rode Dead Horse State Park with Brian as our guide and had a blast. Beautiful scenery and incredible mountain biking. Nice new bikes made it easy (my wife had never been mountain biking). We rode a half day and ended up doing 12+ miles. Smooth easy process as they pick you up at your hotel. Would highly recommend!
This was an excellent adventure for 3 virgin mountain bikers of the group of 4. Brian was great- he knew his audience well and catered to it. The 2 women of the group were huffing and puffing a bit and we never had to ask to stop, he just knew. At the end of the tour, he took the 2 men on an extended adventure so he was able to cater to all of us. Would recommend it highly for beginners as well as experienced riders!
